About Me
Mohamad Tamrin A lecturer, writer, and researcher who focuses on the study of digital technology, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing (NLP). Tamrin graduated from the Department of Statistics at the Islamic University of Indonesia in Yogyakarta. He then obtained an M.Sc. degree after completing his studies in the Department of Computer Science and Econometrics - Big Data Analytics at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland. Additionally, he pursued non-degree studies at the School of Polish Language and Culture, University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. In 2022, Tamrin received a DANA INDONESIANA (Kemendikbud) grant with the theme of studying the digitization practice of Lontar manuscripts. In this research, Tamrin highlights the involvement of digital technology in the preservation of Lontar manuscripts, including the discourse within them.
